Science Entry:
For Science we are studying the book "Electricity and Magnetism". Mr.S, our teacher, assigned us a science project in which we do eight to ten minutes video. I am in group with Elena and Stefania.
Our topic is magnetism. In our video we do several experiments and we try to explain how magnets work and how they are made.
Each magnet has it's negative and positive pole . Each negative pole attracts it's own positive pole. If you put two negative poles, they will repel. Instead a negative and a positive pole attract. Magnets have their own magnetic field that are mapped by the magnetic field lines. Magnetic field lines spread out from one pole, curve around a magnet, and return to the other pole. A cluster of billions of atoms that all have magnetic fields that are lined up in the same way is known as a magnetic domain . Every magnet has it's magnetic domain alined to attach to ferromagnetic things.

Italian Entry:
We have Italian lessons every day and they are divided in three sections: Narrativa, during which we read books that teach us how the world is going on, Italian Grammar, and Italian Literature. For Narrativa we are reading "Stranieri Come Noi" written by Vittorio Zucconi. This book is made of a lot of different adventures that happened to the author.
The story that I liked the most was: "Italy: The Witch". It's a story about an old woman that decided to leave herself die smoking so much to get emphisema. The old woman lived in a tunnel through which some girls went every morning to go to school. Those girls called the woman the "Witch" and they were afraid of her. One day the "Witch" went to the Ospital and one of the girls asked to a man that knew the "Witch", to tell to her what happened to the "Witch". So that girl, feeling sorry for that woman, decided to make her start to live again.

Nicola Morgan-Sleepwalking: ( Novel 7 Entry)
In this book we find ourselves in a world that has been transformed into a far different world, which is completely controlled through one single building. The Citizens do not realize this as they are in the there own world, where you cannot be made upset by such trivial things. However there is a small group of people that do realize how this world is run. They can also use their minds clearly so, therefore see that the world should be changed. But this is not made easy as the police force starts to hunt out this band of people. Now that a new plague is killing off the group, the fate of the world is in three teenagers hands. Morgan's style of writing causes the plot to be extremely believable. She also portrays the characters very and really makes you care about them.
